Starting December 29, 2023, Bisphenol S (BPS) has been included in the Proposition 65 list by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) as a reproductive toxicant. This addition was made through the “State’s Qualified Experts” mechanism, following the determination by the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee (DARTIC) that this chemical unequivocally induces female reproductive toxicity.
